Maxsun HM570 motherboard with Intel Core i7-11800H (Tiger Lake) integrated

Tiger Lake series mobile processors have so far been available only in notebooks and NUC computers. It’s a pity, because these processors with the new Intel Xe graphics GPU would be a good choice for HTPC. Thanks to the Maxsun company it will be possible. Maxsun presented the main board MS-Meterstone i7-11800H Plus with the HM570 chipset and the integrated Tiger Lake-H processor.

The processor used is an 8-core, 16-thread Intel Core i7- 11800H processor with a base clock frequency of 2.3 GHz and an acceleration of 4.6 GHz with 45 W TDP. The processor is soldered in and cannot be replaced. It is covered with a small copper and aluminum heatsink that requires desktop cooling, possibly LGA 115x and LGA1200.

The board has a Micro-ATX format design with an HM570 chipset and measures 245mm x 190mm. PCIe x16, x4 and x1 slots were used along with dual PCIe M.2 slots for NVMe drives and a dedicated E-Key WiFi card slot. The board supports full-size DDR4 DIMM memory slots up to 2933 MHz with the possibility of further overclocking. The board is equipped with a 2.5Gb network card and four USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectors, two USB 2.0, two HDMI 2.0 and two Display Ports.

The motherboard is now priced by the Chinese JD store at 2,899 Chinese yuan (~450 USD).
