In Win A1 and A1 Plus cases
Last year, the A1 case of the Taiwanese manufacturer In Win appeared on sale. Although itsn’t a typical HTPC enclosure, but a Small Form Factor enclosure, still it’s interesting enough to look at.
The case has dimensions of 273 x 216 x 355 (height x width x depth) millimeters, was made of SECC steel and weighs 6 kg. It has tempered glass in the side wall.
The case will only accommodate mITX boards, but will accommodate two-slot discrete graphics cards up to 320 mm long and CPU coolers up to 160 mm high. The data storage has two places for 2.5 “drives. The top panel has two USB 3.0 (USB 3.1 Gen 1). The case has place for four 120 mm fans, two at the bottom, one on the side and one on the back.
The case is equipped with a 600 W power supply with 80 Plus Bronze certificate. An interesting fact is the RGB LED lighting hidden in the base and the Qi charger at the top of the structure. The charger has a charging function when the computer is off. The price in around 170$.
This year, a extended version of the A1 housing was presented – A1 Plus. The main difference in the new model therefore relates to the higher power supply. Here we have 650 W instead of 600 W. In addition, two Sirius Loop ASL120 fans are installed in the housing. The plus version offers support for heavier graphics cards and easy disassembly of the side panel (just pull the handles up).
